A Beautiful Mess RECAP
The past Vibe was a night of delightful disarray that saw several people audition for the upcoming film release entitled “A Beautiful Mess.” The auditions will be held all summer long so if you are still interested in trying out to qualify for the movie, please e-mail sal@comevibewithus.com and attend the upcoming Vibe open mic night on Thursday, August 7th! With Joe Joe as host and Mike sketching terrific illustrations of the messiness of our lives in the back, Ronald started off the evening with two different card tricks that he has been able to solidly master …
Comedian, Mary Dimino spoke of the unique experiences reflecting her Italian heritage … Jack Freeman has to certainly be a top consideration for the “Beautiful Mess” film with his captivating audition and his edited book, “Trails Through The Greenbelt” receiving prominent recognition … Newcomer, Marc shared a terrific piece of literature he has been working on … Vibez and Luke flipped the crowd upside down with their alternative dancing to the bling-bling, tie-in-with-a-designer corporate hip-hop … Muddy Cup matron, Christina bravely shared the story of a friend she had lost through the pains of suicide … Tom Weiss told the cluttered confusion that was Hurricane Katrina … He then introduced his good friend David Peel, an anti-war recording artist who both John Lennon and Yoko Ono produced … Demetrius returned with an astonishingly created banner that hung over the stage, spitting the realities of a world that has lost its liberty … Doug exposed the clichés to poetry with his highly-improved prose and performing … Newbie, Tom shared his eccentric tastes in life …Vic brought a zealous truth that words can’t do justice on … The lyricism of Paul Marz penetrated through the very epicenter of the crowd … Noodlez finished off the evening with a melody that will put those who doubted his rap aspirations over the years to utter shame …
