What else does our spoken word night need? Just this: some visual stimulation.  Not that I don’t like staring at all the beautiful faces when we’re together, but we need some art to inspire us on and on.  So here’s the deal for the July Vibe:  we’re still going to have our open mic where anyone can rap, rant, recite, recount, recollect, or regurgitate whatever they desire.  But we want visual artists of any kind to bring and display their work to feast our hungry eyes upon: sketches, paintings, photos, sculpture, collages, etc.  Do you have friends that are visual artists?  Nag them until they bring something.  Do you do some type of visual art yourself? Well, what are you waiting for?  Come on!
